PVC Resin the physical appearance is white powder, non-toxic, odorless. Relative density 1.35-1.46. It is thermoplastic,insoluble in water  and ethanol, expandable or soluble in ether, ketone, fatty chlorohy-drocarbons or aromatic hydrocarbons with strong anti--corrosiveness, and good dieletric property.Polyvinyl chloride is flame-retardant (flame retardant value above 40), high chemical resistance (resistant to concentrated hydro chloric acid, 90% sulfuric acid, 60% ni tric acid and 20% so dium hydro xide), mechanical strength And the advantages of good electrical insulation. But its heat resistance is poor, with a softening point of 80°C, it starts to decompose and change color at 130°C, and precipitate HCI.
